The source code is open

Every line that runs on your PC and on your phone you can read, build yourself and improve.

The program and the app are under the GNU AGPL 3, in the repository KIplatz/kiplatz-code on GitHub. They connect to kiplatz.at, the server in Vienna, in the EU.

What is in the repository

The program for Windows

The window, the AI runtime on the PC, the knowledge store, the home network, the connection to kiplatz.at. Exactly the code we build the package from.

on GitHub, the program's folder

The app

The folder app/www is exactly what runs at kiplatz.at/app, plus the shells for Android and iPhone.

The build scripts and the tests

You can build the same package we ship and compare the checksum. The tests run on the program alone.

Verifiable instead of claimed

Everything the program sends anywhere is listed under "What leaves my computer". Now you can read in the code that the list is true.

under "What never happens"

You don't have to believe us. You can read.

Build along, no need to ask

Reporting bugs, bringing in ideas and suggesting sources works as before, in the workshop. If you want to change code, open a pull request on GitHub or attach a patch in the workshop.

We read every suggestion, check it for security and licence and rebuild it in our repository. It reaches everyone with the next build. Your name goes into the release notes if you want.

The name KIplatz and the logo are not part of the licence. If you fork the code, give your version its own name.
