Try KIplatz

We need you

Anyone can help out at KIplatz, because we can only grow together. You do not need to know anything you do not already know.

Pick what you enjoy. One hour already helps, and afterwards your name is among those who build along.

Test, translate, write, check

Try out the program

You start KIplatz on your PC and tell us what sticks or is unclear.

How to start: ask one question, write one report.

Translate into English

You translate one chapter of the wiki the way you would explain it to a friend.

How to start: pick a chapter, submit the text.

Improve the wiki

Found a passage that is too technical? Rewrite it so that your neighbour understands it.

How to start: send the new paragraph as an idea.

Build skills

A skill teaches KIplatz a task, such as club minutes or recipes. Written in everyday language, in 10 minutes.

How to start: create it in the program, try it out, share it.

Check answers

You ask KIplatz about a field you know well and tell us when something is wrong. That makes every answer better.

How to start: thumbs down, and add a suggestion.

Find good sources

Do you know reliable texts on a topic that are free to use? They help the shared knowledge grow.

How to start: bring in the address and licence as an idea.

Every bit of help is noticed and thanked. Here, you are somebody.

Join in three steps

  1. Create an account, with an e-mail address, Google or GitHub. It works for the program, for the forum and for the workshop.
  2. Pick a task from above and let us know briefly in the workshop, so that two people do not do the same thing.
  3. Get going. You can ask questions in the forum at any time, and Philipp usually answers the same day.
